The Willows Academy is an all-girls school for students in grades 6-12. This institution has a college preparatory curriculum and follows the Catholic tradition. The school offers ACT prep, various AP classes and college counseling, as well as classes in literature, computer applications, philosophy, history and math. There is a wide selection of athletics, clubs and organizations for students to join as well. This school is part of the Alliance for Character in Education.
Crystal Lake Montessori School is an educational institution that offers accredited Montessori instruction to students from 6 weeks through to age 14. In addition to the academic curriculum, it offers students in grades 9 through 12 access to its band program, wherein students receive lessons for a fee and can choose to either rent instruments or bring their own. Students can also attend field trips to such destinations as Washington D.C., North Carolina and Nature's Classroom.
Prospect High School is part of Township High School District 214. It serves approximately 2,100 students in grades 9-12. The school follows standard state curriculum and offers a full complement of extracurricular and enrichment activities, with a notable fine and performing arts department. For athletics, Prospect High participates in the Mid-Suburban League and fields teams in all major sports. The school was established in 1957 and has an extensive library and modern educational resources.
Metea Valley High School is part of Indian Prairie School District 204. It is one of three high schools in the district. Its principal is James Schmid. The school provides education to students between grades of 9-12.
The Learning Tree is a pre-school and childcare center located near the Village Square Shopping Center. Working with toddlers ages one to five, The Learning Tree offers programs like birthday parties, pre-school, kindergarten, summer camp, discovery club and more.
The MidWest Montessori School is a training school for teachers who will be teaching at local Montessori schools. Since 1992, the MMS has been offering training and observation services to teachers interested in teaching within the Montessori system. Once training is finished the graduates can go on to teach.
Little University is within the Korean Church and community center off of Arlington Heights Road. Its emphasis is on early learning in all subject matters, such as reading, writing, math, science, music and art, as well as computer skills. Acting as a daycare and early education provider, the school has a Montessori-based system that encourages active participation and thinking in children.
Adams School of Driving has been helping people in Chicagoland learn how to drive since 1946. Teen programs meet graduation requirements with classroom only and behind-the-wheel instruction. Adult programs consist of private tutoring and testing in an Adams car according to the client's needs. Free pick-up and drop-off at home, work or school is provided. In addition to basic highway driving, winter, night, rain and road construction driving lessons are also available.
