Located in Fort Madison, Iowa, Fort Madison High School is a four-year high school that provides academic services to more than 700 students in grades 9 through 12. It is a part of the Fort Madison Community School District, which has an enrollment of nearly 2,200 students in over five schools. Fort Madison High School maintains several academic departments, such as agriculture, business, computer technology, home economics, industrial technology, language arts, math, science and social studies. In addition, the school conducts classes in special education, music, physical education, art, fine arts and foreign languages. The school has a guidance and counseling department that provides basic assistance to students regarding scholarships, career planning, and social and mental problems. Fort Madison High School maintains various school organizations, including a yearbook group, band, chorus, key club, and cheerleading and dance teams.
