Stonington Adult Education organizes a variety of continuing education classes for adults, all of which take place at the Stonington High School. Its mission is to provide cost-effective courses that bridge the gap between business, industry and education. Practical-minded instructors aim to give students tools that will directly improve their chances for success in the labor market.
Pawcatuck Middle School with its location in a residential neighbor is a throwback to old neighborhood schools. Many of the current student's parents were also students at the school. Tim Smith is the current principal of the school. Originally the high school, the school was converted into a middle school in 1958 and remodeled in 1991.
St. Michael Catholic School offers education for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. Its program includes classes in math, science, English, foreign languages, social studies, music, art, computer skills, physical education and religion. It also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including basketball, soccer, cross country, debate club, drama club, band, student council and more.
