Located in Vancouver, Wash., Cascade Middle School is operated by the Evergreen Public Schools. It offers academic education to more than 800 students every year in grades six through eight. The school has various departments, such as math, science research, social studies, English, language arts, reading, exploratory, special education, health and physical education. It also provides classes in drama, foreign language, art, technology, and family and consumer science. The middle school also provides guidance and counseling services that assists students in anger management, and academic and personal issues. It provides a variety of athletic activities that includes volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, and track and field. Cascade Middle School has a library and media center that offers a collection of books and encyclopedias, as well as computers with Internet access.
