Community Partnership Charter School is a neighborhood school open to all students who are eligible to enroll in New York City public schools. There are no financial or academic requirements for admission, and the school offers a rigorous academic program that helps students explore and develop their own special talents. Housed in a beautiful blue building on 9th street dating back to 1850, Slope Music School is a small, private music school offering lessons to all levels of students in Park Slope. Vita and Charles Sibirsky started the school in 1981 and have been teaching the community to play since then. The seven teachers at the school often play in the community as well. They can be seen at the Old Stone House, the local library, and various jazz clubs around town.
