Sunny Pointe Child Care Center has many childcare options ranging from infant and toddler care to preschool and kindergarten. 12 weeks to 5 years of age are welcome. Half days and full days are offered. Days are filled with fun activities, and it offers additional classes in music and gymnastics. Hot lunch is provided to students who wish to participate and a summer camp is available.
Northville High School, home of the Mustangs, is located in Northville Township. In addition to the large school building itself, the campus also includes many athletic amenities. It has a track, football field, tennis courts, basketball courts and more. The school operates on block scheduling and has more than a dozen academic departments.
Hillside Middle School is located high atop the corner of Center Street and Baseline Road, on an active intersection in the City of Northville. The school shares its building with the city's Parks and Recreation facility. The school itself has large, open hallways and lecture hall-style classrooms. Hillside is one of two Northville middle schools and serves sixth through eighth grades.
Located in the near outskirts of Northville Township, Ridge Wood Elementary is a kindergarten through fifth grade school. Art, music and Spanish classes are offered.
Of nine school groups tested, including private, public, Catholic, Lutheran and charter facilities, in eight academic categories, St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran School placed first in five categories and second in three. The Christian School features small classes where children receive individual attention as needed. It offers prayer, certified teachers, weekly chapel services, ongoing missionary projects, computer labs and music classes. Students are guaranteed to score in the 80 to 90 percentile on all national standardized testing. Scholarships and financial aid are available.
The Learning Experience (TLE) in Northville is part of a nationwide franchise of independently owned and operated child development centers. TLE provides a dynamic environment for babies and children from ages 6 weeks through 8 years. A full-day kindergarten is offered, as well as before- and after-school care. The atmosphere is friendly; the decor is bright and colorful. A fenced-in play yard adjacent to the building is equipped with a playscape.
Cooke School's mission is to serve students from Wayne County with special education needs. The school works with students up to the age of 25. There are 16 classrooms in this school and additional satellite classrooms at Northville High School and the Western Wayne Skill Center in Livonia.
