Wonder World Preschool has a small preschool location at a church. There is no affiliation with the church, it just rents the space from them. It charges a reasonable fee that includes meals and snacks. If your child is not potty trained, there is an additional fee.
deCroupet's is located along Arcadia's well-known and busy East Huntington Dr. It is a large, bright store that is filled with cooking food and decoration items for the production of all kinds of pastries.
Some of the items it offers include baking pans, pastry bags, candles, icings, dollies, boxes and much more. It also offers cooking classes that include beginner, intermediate and advanced cooking classes.
The classes run as five, two hour classes that can be for adults or for kids' classes. It accepts all kinds of credit cards and has a return for store credit policy for convenience.
There is free parking on the street outside as well.
Founded in 1999, All Seasons Children's Learning Center enrolls children from pre-K to kindergarten. The staff is professional and extremely hands-on with the children. All Seasons Children Learning Center provides a cooked lunch for all students.
Little Harvard Academy is an educational tutoring program serving elementary school students. Offering after-school help in English and math, Little Harvard Academy is staffed by a trained team of knowledgeable tutors ready to help its students with their homework.
Neighborhood Music School is an instructional school for beginner and intermediate music students. The school offers classes such as beginner's violin, beginner's guitar, composition and music theory, and more. On some Friday evenings, the school offers concerts for the community to attend. The school has a host of instructors, ranging from voice coaches to cello instructors. Parking is conveniently located in front of the store and behind the building.
At Angela Preschool and Kindergarten you'll find an organized center ready to serve as your child's first teacher. The staff will teach the basics of numbers, English and health and also venture into music, social skills, science, plus arts and crafts. Here, English is the first language. One of six elementary schools in the Arcadia Unified School District, Hugo Reid boasts impressive test scores in every subject that far exceed the averages of Los Angeles County. Led by Principal Thomas Bruce, Hugo Reid Elementary is the only school in the district with two campuses. The location at 1153 de Anza Place houses students enrolled in K-2nd grade.
ABC Reading and Diagnostic Center is a tutoring center for children in the Arcadia area. It provides reading and writing assistance, as well as diagnostic tests that can determine a child's current reading level.
