Chicopee Savings Bank is a Massachusetts state chartered, mutual savings bank and is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF). As members of the FDIC and DIF, all customers deposits are fully insured. The first $100,000 per depositor is insured by FDIC; all deposits above this amount are insured by the DIF. Chicopee Savings Bank was founded in 1854 and opened for business on March 6 of that year. Chicopee Savings has teamed up with NOVA Information Systems to offer merchant payment processing services.
