To make a very long story short, lack of selection and poor customer service prompted her and dad to start their own rug business. Today, Rugs of the World is the oldest rug store in Tampa. Our family and our employees, most of whom have been with us for many many years, are dedicated to providing rugs for every lifestyle, taste and budget. We believe strongly that every rug in our showroom should have a fair price and that the price should be displayed prominently on every single rug. We do not believe in high pressure sales tactics, haggling, or a sales staff that works on commission.
