Calvin Community, located in Des Moines, Iowa, is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community. It was founded in 1965 and is a home to more than 150 residents, who are provided with individualized services and care by its team of experienced and skilled professionals. The center offers more than 80 assisted living apartments and features over 50 beds for the residents. The health center offers a variety of care programs and services, including physical, social, spiritual and psychological services. It provides a complete continuum of living arrangements, such as apartments, independent, assisted living and skilled nursing care services. In addition, Calvin Community also accepts a variety of contributions for the continuing care retirement community residents.
