American Restaurant Group, best known via its subsidiary Stuart Andersons Black Angus and Cattle Company Restaurants, began in Seattle, Wash. in 1964. Each Stuart Andersons restaurant has approximately 75 employees and serves an average of almost 3,000 customers per week. The company is based in Los Altos, Calif.
