A Brand New Day is an assisted living facility authorized by the State of California to care for a maximum of 26 elderly men and women. Its the perfect size because we are small enough to provide a home-like atmosphere, yet large enough to offer great amenities and three shifts of well-trained and dedicated staff. We have built an excellent reputation in the communty since opening in 1998.
We provide secure care for those with Dementia and Alzheimers. Our two buildings have private and semi-private bedrooms and feature their own kitchens, dining, living and activity rooms to provide the best environment for the variety of our residents needs.
We are partners with physicians, health professionals, family and friends to ensure that the residents have the resources to meet their needs. We respect the dignity of our residents, partners and each other in all services provided at A Brand New Day.

Milpitas Care Center is a skilled nursing facility that offers in-house rehabilitation, both short-term and long-term. Most of the seniors come directly from a hospital. The building feels like a home and less like a medical facility. The nursing home has the capacity for 35 seniors. Current residents range in age from mid-50s to 99 years in age. The male-to-female ratio is 1:6. A large calendar in the hallway shows daily scheduled activities for residents. Once a month, there is a field trip, usually to the nearby mall. Although there is no chapel, church personnel visit the nursing home regularly.
40 one-bedroom apartments at ground level, three or four apartments to a building.
Water, sewer, and garbage service included in rent, other utilities are paid by resident.
Full kitchen including dishwasher (all electric).
Bathtub, shower and toilet with grab bars.
Central heating and air conditioning, controlled by resident.
Cable TV available for reduced bulk rate.
Each apartment has a private, gated patio.
Two hot meals available daily, delivered to the apartment (extra cost, not included in the rent).
