Monroe College offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees. Other degrees can be completed through a combination of online and classroom courses, which Monroe calls "blended learning."

Monroe offers financial aid and work-study programs and assists students in finding part-time jobs. The New Rochelle campus offers on-campus living in 16 dorm buildings, which collectively house 750 students. On-campus housing provides 24-hour security for students.

Monroe College is a member of the National Junior College Athletics Association and its athletics teams are the Mustangs. On-campus student groups include the National Association of Black Accountants, Monroe Cheerleaders, Monroe Dancers and Students in Free Enterprise.
