Advent Lutheran Church, a community landmark, is located at the corner of Harper and Cannon roads. Worship services are held each Sunday at 8:45 am and 11am. Christian education is offered for all ages from 9:45-10:45am each Sunday. Nursery care is available for families with young children during the 11am service.
Located on West Clifton Boulevard, Lakewood Congregational Church has been a valuable member of the community since its inception in 1905. This church also offers many programs, including youth and adult ministries, a music ministry and community outreach.

Established in 1952, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church has served as a place of worship for its parishioners during the last 15 decades. In the mid-1950s, it was decided two separate buildings would be constructed for the church and a school. Immaculate Heart of Mary School is now located behind the church, off of Lillis Drive.
The Brecksville United Methodist Church formed in 1823 shortly after the city was founded, which reflects its location in the center of town. The church focuses strongly on service and outreach and has a lot of interaction with the Brecksville community. The church also rents space to Horizons Preschool.
St. Peter's Episcopal Church worships in the Anglican tradition with communion, scripture readings, prayer and music led by a choir and pipe organ with brass and other instruments. The building itself was completed in 1928 and has since added on various sections. The church offers plenty of ways for people to get involved, starting with Sunday morning worship services led by Reverend Keith Owen at 8:00 and 10 a.m. and Bible study classes for all ages that follow the 8 a.m. service. Choir programs are available for both children and adults and a childcare center for infants to school-aged children.
Prince of Peace Luthern Church offers additional educational services such as Vacation Bible school, confirmation class, women's discipleship groups, weekday Bible study and youth groups. There is a nursery service offered during Sunday worship and Sundy school that begins at 10:10am each Sunday.
Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church is a Solon-based Presbyterian congregation led by Pastor Kerri Peterson-Davis. In addition to hosting regular worship services, it offers youth group, music, religious education, fellowship and preschool programs. Church on the Rise is a non-denominational, Christian church offering worship services for its members. It also offers programs with regular meetings for kids, married couples and a connection group. Worship services are at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays. There also is a family service at 7 p.m. Wednesdays.
The Mentor Christian Church has existed since 1828 and counts Zeb Rudolph, the father-in-law of President James A. Garfield, as one of its former ministers. In fact, while Garfield was the minister of another Christian Church, he would often visit its sister church in Mentor. Mentor Christian's current church was built in 1915, and Minister Gary L. Walling now oversees services. Sunday school begins at 9am with the morning service following at 10am. A Spanish-speaking service is held by a separate congregation, Mision Cristian Emanuel, at 1 pm on Sunday, in the same building.

The Church of Christ is a non-denominational church with services at 10:30am and 6pm on Sunday, as well as Bible study at 7pm on Wednesday. The pastor at the Church of Christ is Marc Addison. The church runs a food bank that is open from 9 to 11am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Members of the church also started the Love Bear program. They make and decorate bears, which are then given to children in hospitals and soldiers.
Since 1910, the St. James Catholic Church has been a valued member of the Lakewood Community, offering several youth and adult bible study programs along with a list of outreach programs that encourage others to give back. Stop in for tours of the facilities.
Now that the parish has reopened, masses will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:15 a.m., Saturdays at 4:30 p.m., and Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
