Pastor Charles W. Froehlich has been the pastor for more than 30 years. St. Luke's has been in Dix Hills since 1962. It was the first Lutheran Church in Dix Hills and one of the first churches built in the area.
Meetings for parents with troubled teenagers and the local Boy Scouts troop are held here. The church also has services around the holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving to bring food to the underserved as well as on Super Bowl Sunday.
Founded in 1901, Christ Church offers a wide variety of activities, including five different choirs, Sunday school for children, a young-adult group, book groups, a Working Mother's Fellowship and a seminar series, among other programs. The Episcopal Youth Community, for high school students, also leads two yearly trips, including one to the Taize monestary in France.

Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship is a nondenominational body of believers meeting on New Hempstead Road in New City. The parish community represents over 70 different nationalities, and is dedicated to inclusive and cooperative Christianity. All Saints' Episcopal Church is located at the intersection of Scarborough and Old Briarcliff Roads.
The church, designed by Richard Upjohn, dated 1854, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The beautiful stone church's parking lot is located just past the entrance on Scarborough Road. In the rear of the church, there are entrances to the church office, Sunday school and parish hall, as well as a courtyard with benches.
The Sunday school classrooms are adjacent to an outdoor playground and recreation area.
This church has been active since 1954 and in its current home since the 1970s. The 120-person congregation hosts Calvary's Cupboard Food Pantry for those in need on Mondays (10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.), Tuesdays (2 p.m. - 4 p.m.) and Thursdays (2 p.m. - 4 p.m.). Pastor Ken Huber has led the congregation since early 2006.
The renovated Grace Lutheran Church sits nestled in a wooded environment at the corner of Curry and Gomer streets, nearby Route 6 in Yorktown Heights. Its founding Pastor and mission developer, Albert Haversat, began his mission work for the Yorktown Lutheran Church in February of 1964. The first worship service was held on September 13, 1964, in a Jefferson Valley store next to what is now the post office.
Over the past forty years the congregation has expanded and seen its church and sanctuary rebuilt. The Reverend Dr. Timothy J. Kennedy has been church pastor since 1978, and in 1988 Grace Lutheran became a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Riverhead United Methodist Church, located on East Main Street, has been active since 1833. The congregation operates a thrift shop, open from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. Pastor Gordon Bienvenue leads services, which are held on Sundays at 10am.

St. Margaret Episcopal Church dates its history to 1961, when 11-acres off Washington Ave. were donated to the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. The congregation, drawn from a wide swath of Long Island, held its first meeting in the America Legion Hall on Jamaica Ave. before moving into its beautiful new home in 1964. The A-frame structure also features a stand-alone bell tower, refurbished and rededicated in 2002. The grounds include a modern cemetery.
The United Methodist Church of Port Washington, which preaches about, "Open hearts, open minds and open doors," offers prayer services, study groups and youth programs. It has become a major religious staple in town.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School was founded in the early 1950s and has witnessed decades of change in Plainview. The church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The school is chartered by the New York State Department of Education and is licensed by the New York State Department of Children and Family Services.
All Saints Church and Cemetery has been a part of the Great Neck community for more than 125 years. It is an Epispocal church built in 1886. The cemetery was incepted when the church opened and is still used today. All are welcome to join in their church services.
The Living Faith Christian Church was recently built and is a large, modern space "for people to come to learn from God's Word," according to Pastor Ed Kirkland. Worship services are held each Sunday morning at 9am and 11am. Sunday school is available for children during the 9am service. The church hosts ministries and opportunities for all ages to participate in the service.
The oldest house in Pleasantville is the Rectory of St. John's dating from 1785. The current church, however, dates back to 1912.
Lifelong Episcopalians, converts, mixed-faith families and seekers and mixed faith families make up the congregation. The church serves Pleasantville, Hawthorne, Thornwood and Valhalla and surrounding communities. The church has outreach initiatives, both locally and abroad.
The Seminary of the Immaculate Conception is part of the Diocese of Rockville Centre. In accordance with the Catholic Church, the Seminary offers a comprehensive program preparing individuals for priesthood into the Church in Rockville Centre. The Program for Priestly Formation is a five-year program encompassing human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation with evaluations conducted regularly.
