The St. Paul's First Lutheran Preschool is located on Tujunga Boulevard off of Magnolia in North Hollywood. The facility is run and operated by St. Paul's First Lutheran Church. Accepting children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, the school provides age-appropriate language arts and math activities, as well as Christian-enriched curriculum, which includes daily Bible lessons and Wednesday morning chapel worship. Children enrolled in the program will also learn psalms with a view at singing them at church services. Tuition fees are listed on the website. To enroll or to make an appointment to tour the facility, call to speak with the preschool director, Cynthia Clendenen.

Iglesia Evangelica Bethel is a primarily Spanish-speaking church located on Colfax Avenue in North Hollywood. It stands out in the neighborhood with its bright yellow building and large red doors. It is an Evangelical church which offers two worship services each and every week. One service is on Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and the other is Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. It also offers Sunday School programs, as well as other various meetings and events each week.  There is a large parking lot on the property as well, making it very convenient to attend a service, meeting or event. It welcomes all visitors as well as its congregations members to each gathering.

First Southern Baptist Church of North Hollywood stands out on its stretch of Victory Blvd. thanks its tall, white steeple and bright white surrounding fence. It's surrounded by nicely manicured grounds. First-time visitors should note that the parking lot entrance is off of Cleon Ave. It's a family church that focuses on distraction-free worship. Members here are part of the so-called "First Family." Guests are welcome.

Metropolitan Community Church in the Valley is part of a worldwide church that unites Christians from many diverse traditions under one roof.  It was originally founded to serve the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community, and welcomes people of all backgrounds to its services.  Sunday morning worship is held at 10:30am followed by a luncheon.  MCC offers same-sex weddings, and wedding packages.

The North Hollywood Church of Religious Science is a non-denominational institution that embraces people of all faiths through its life-affirming Science of The Mind philosophy. Located on Whitsett and Erwin in North Hollywood for the past 58 years, the church prides itself on being a united center of spiritual healing.

Besides its usual Sunday worship service, it also offers mediation, candlelight chants and self-mastery classes. Its Youth Center offers spiritual lessons, affirmations, meditation, yoga, games and arts and crafts for children ages 4 to 14 years old with supportive and open group discussions for 15-18 year olds. St Matthew's Lutheran Church of North Hollywood is a progressive Lutheran community that welcomes the gay and lesbian community.  The church is very large and has a  tranquil garden near its entrance. Sunday worship service is at 10:30 am.  The Crown City Theatre Group is located on the premises.

The church began with mass celebrated in a private home.  In 1921 the first building was purchased. The current campus was bought in 1952 and the building was consecrated in 1959 as parishioners, in solemn procession, moved into the new Saint Charles Borromeo Church. Father Bob Gallagher was assigned here in January, 2000. The choir director has been with the church for more than 50 years.  

Saint Charles Borromeo School's mission is "to prepare our students to become committed Catholics and academically prepared individuals who become life long learners."

The Saint Charles Borromeo Center across the street operated by volunteers provides eligible clients with free food, clothing, toiletries, books, toys, furniture, and other household items. Pregnant women are provided layettes and other available infant care items.

Faith Presbyterian Church of Valley Village began as a gathering of the faithful under the trees of a school yard on Moorpark Street in 1940. The current location was purchased in 1947. It provides worship and Bible study on Sunday, as well as Sunday school and Support Valley Interfaith Food Pantry. 

The church campus is now home to a multipurpose and nutrition center for senior citizens (East Valley Multipurpose Senior Center) managed by the Valley Interfaith Council (VIC), a preschool run by Headstart, and the meeting place for a variety of religious fellowships, self-help groups and 12-step programs.  The Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Fellowship also holds worship services on the campus of Faith Pres.

The temple sits high atop a slightly elevated plot of land on the quiet residential street, Sylvan Street. The temple offers its congregation 4 different services a week with Rabbi Gabay, one morning service and one evening service, on Mondays and Fridays. The Calvary Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church is located on the corner of Vanowen and Ben streets. The small, white church with blue trim offers a separate Sunday school house in the back of the main building as well as plenty of parking for the congregation. The St. Patrick's Catholic Church is located on Cahuenga Blvd just off of Erwin St. Its idyllic grounds are covered with lush trees, bubbling fountains and beautiful statues providing a serene and pleasant setting. Mass is held five days out of the week and the church also provides various dates and times for Spanish Mass. It also offers an array of services like Bible study, daily prayer, family mass, confession, 1st communion classes and confirmation classes. Founded in 1945, Emmanuel Lutheran Church is a place of worship for individuals of the Christian faith. Based in North Hollywood, Calif., the church primarily renders Sunday prayer and worship services. St Anne's Catholic Church in was founded in 1909.  It's current location was built in 1965.  It is a Melkite Catholic church that follows the Byzantine rite.  Most members are Arabic speakers from the Middle East. Attached to the church is an elementary school that was founded in 1970.  Support groups, prayer groups and bible study is all offered here for patrons. Check with the church as the schedule changes often.  The church also provides services such as funerals, weddings and baptisms.

Originally founded in 1892, the First United Methodist Church of North Hollywood offers a religious community based on scripture, tradition, reason and experience. As an establishment, it continues to support charitable causes in the local community and around the world today. It is a partner in the Interfaith Food Pantry and serves at the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission.  It supports missionaries in the US and in Thailand.  The church's historic building, built in 1949, is available for movie shoots and has been filmed already for a variety of scenes.

Sunday mornings worship services are at 8:15 in the Boyer Chapel and at 10:30 in the Sanctuary. Pastor Dr. Joey McDonald presides.

The Mount Sinai Holy Church of America was founded in 1924. It is governed by the Episcopal Church, and has approximately 130 congregations over four countries. The Monte Sinai Pentecostal Church, or Iglesia Evangelcal Pentecostes Monte Sinai, has been serving the Spanish speaking community of North Hollywood for 28 years. Five days a week this cozy building hosts various Christian events, including Bible study, Sunday School, youth services and numerous prayer services. It is presided over by Pastores Zapien. Services are all held in Spanish.
