Calvary Chapel is a non-demoninational church that sits along Vista Terrace in Lake Forest. It is led by Pastor Steve DeNicola, and has two services on Sundays and a host of ministry groups to join. Its ministries include groups for teens, adults, men, women and children. Bible studies are held weekly on the building grounds. One of the highlight programs of the church is its Monday Night Live gatherings.

It's the meeting place for the Lake Forest Ward of the church, which is part of the Santa Margarita California Stake. Worship meeting services are held on Sundays at 10am. Arbor Christian School has been in the area since 1978. It offers education from kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as a preschool and day care. Summer offerings include field trips and Bible study. There is an Awana program available for young children. The school is part of the Arbor Christian Fellowship, a church led by Dr. Michael Proud as pastor. Its ministries include a Hispanic ministry and English as a second language classes.

Officially affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Pastor Rick Warren's "Purpose-Driven" message of evangelical Christianity has helped win the church a worldwide following of more than 30,000 people. The 120-acre Lake Forest campus is the church's nerve center and boasts a number of permanent worship "tents," a large auditorium, offices, a cafe and a recently built youth ministry mecca called The Refinery—complete with an outdoor beach volleyball court.
This Roman-Catholic church has been serving Lake Forest residents since 1979. It's along Lake Forest Dr and sits on a few acres of beautiful grounds. The church features daily mass, community events and bible study. The site can also be used for weddings, funerals and Holy Days. One of the main religious education groups is the Youth Ministry.
