Chelsea Piers Connecticut (CPCT) is a 465,000-square-foot state-of-the-art sports and recreation facility located in Stamford, CT, just off I-95 at Exit 9. Opened in July 2012, CPCT features two indoor ice rinks, an Olympic pool and adjacent SplashZone indoor water park, a gymnastics training center, 11 singles and one hardball doubles squash court, 7 indoor hard court tennis courts, an indoor turf baseball/softball training facility and batting cages, Adventure Center featuring a recreational trampoline center, a 24-foot high rock wall and a Little Athletes gym for children six months to five years, and a Field House with a 100-yard turf field, four hardwood basketball/volleyball courts and a 1/5-mile track. CPCT offers a wide range of programs in more than a dozen sports, including classes, summer camps, competitive teams, leagues & tournaments and elite sports training. CPCT also features a 5,000 sq.ft CP Kids Childcare & Preschool center, several event spaces & party rooms, on-site food service. In December 2014, CPCT opened a world-class 65,000 square-foot health & fitness facility and clubhouse, the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club. The members-only fitness facility features 25,000 square feet of strength and cardio equipment, a dedicated mind/body center for Pilates Reformer classes, multi-disciplinary and hot yoga, as well as traditional group fitness studios and dedicated space for triathlon and competitive cycling training.

ARI of Connecticut, located in Stamford, Conn., is a social service and welfare organization that was established in 1952. It provides special programs and medical services to people suffering from various disabilities. ARI operates a habilitation service department that provides basic support services to the community, food resources to the senior adults, and organizes various recreational activities, such as art and crafts, bowling, horticulture and excursions. It also provides assistance to individuals suffering from physical and mental disabilities with daily living activities, such as bathing, walking, grooming and personal hygiene. Additionally, ARIs medical department provides individualized medical services to people suffering from various disabilities residing in its managed apartments. It has a staff of registered nurses, and offers various services, such as routine visits by primary care physicians and specialist doctors. The organization additionally has a staff of special caregivers that have expertise in first aid, emergency medical procedures, and provide 24-hour medication monitoring services. ARI of Connecticut also provides job placement services and assistance in preparation for interviews.
