The Carmel Valley Recreation Center offers a variety of classes for children. Classes include acting, Brazilian Jiu Jitzu, gymnastics, self-defense, cooking and dance. Various sporting leagues are also available, such as basketball, dodgeball and tennis. The center features outdoor courts, a tot lot, a playground, picnic areas, a multipurpose athletic field, tennis courts, a full-size gymnasium, a meeting room, a game room, a craft room and a full-size kitchen.
Eastview Community Center is a private club for members of the Eastview community. The facility includes tennis courts, swimming pool, spa, a full kitchen and social room as well as library. The community boasts an ideal location central to freeways, shopping, beaches, desert and mountain ranges, and is only 25 miles north of downtown San Diego.
Bernardo Heights Community Center is used exclusively by the 3,500 residents of Bernardo Heights. It features tennis courts, pedestrian paths, a country club and the well-maintained Lucido Park. Yoga, kick-boxing and swimming classes are available as well as personal trainers.
