Born in Salem, Oregon, I was raised in Carlton, Oregon and graduated from Yamhill-Carlton High School in 1964, Linfield College, BA in Psychology in 1968, Pacific University, BA in Language Arts in 1971, and Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College, JD, 1988. I have worked in my familys restaurant, sold real estate for 17 years, and I have practiced law in Hillsboro, Oregon, for the past 24 years, limiting my practice to real estate law, business law and litigation, and estate planning and probate. Ive been married to Joy for 41 years and although we have no children, we do have Charlie Dee, our cocker spaniel, who visits the office often.
