Some residents of Oceanview Breakers Apartments can step out onto their decks and watch waves breaking against the rocky coast and pelicans diving for fish. Those whose apartments don't face the water have to walk half a block to stand on the cliffside, within reach of the ocean spray. Whichever side their view faces, all the Oceanview residents share the pool, outdoor propane grill, and fresh breezes.
The apartments are 50 years old, but don't look their age. They have a modern, elegant and friendly feel in keeping with the quiet and upscale beach neighborhood.
The apartments are owned and operated by Seagate Properties, which also owns a student housing facility near UC Santa Cruz. Of the 104 apartments, 80 are one-bedrooms with the remaining 24 two-bedrooms. All the apartments include one assigned parking space within the gated premises. A 12-month lease is required.
