Bin Teh, MD, PhD, is vice chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Houston Methodist Hospital and a professor of radiation oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Teh specializes in treating cancers in the breast, central nervous system (brain) tumors, eye, lung, kidney, prostate, bladder, liver, and pancreas, as well as lymphoma and metastatic cancer.Dr. Teh™s interests in innovative radiation oncology technologies include framed and frameless stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), gamma knife, stereotactic body radiation therapy/stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and brachytherapy, as well as combined immunotherapy and radiotherapy.Dr. Teh earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland in Australia. He completed radiation oncology residency training and fellowship in intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is an active member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American College of Radiology (ACR) and American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO). In addition to the above, he has published over 250 peer-reviewed articles, 35 book chapters, 3 textbooks and numerous editorials.Dr. Teh has received three fellowship awards including the American College of Radiology (FACR), American College of Radiation Oncology (FACRO), and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (FASTRO). He has also received the prestigious Pink Door Phoenix Award and was recognized in the top 100 physicians to be a part of Houston Methodist Hospital in its first centennial.
