WMNR Fine Arts Radio plays classical music around the clock for its nearly 60,000 listeners. The radio station is funded entirely by its listeners, foundations and businesses. WMNR is the only public radio station in Southern New England to air classical music 90 percent or more of the time. Aside from providing music, the radio station serves as an emergency communications outlet for Monroe and the surrounding region.
