KEGR FM is a local radio station broadcasting AAA (adult album alternative) music to the Concord and Clayton areas. The station offers weekend shows, weather, news and KEGR DJs for all of your listening needs. The station is now available via the Internet as well, for a much broader listening radius.
KALX Radio is a community radio station for UC Berkeley. It broadcasts to most of the San Francisco Bay Area and listeners can access a streaming version of the station over the internet. The station's shows include Midnight Express, Information Overload, The Muse, Dance Party Fife and Leftfield Lance. Local musicians can send demo tapes and music from their record labels to the radio station, as well as book in-studio performances and band interviews.
KCSM is public radio and television station located on the campus of the College of San Mateo. In 1964 both were originally established as student broadcast training facilities. Its jazz format radio station broadcasts at 91.1FM. The television station is carried by over 60 cable networks in the Bay Area and boasts a 500 kilowatt broadcasting system. Its main office can be found in building nine under the library.
