Timbuktu Labs is a digital media company co-founded by Elena Favilli in 2012, best known for the wildly successful series Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, a collection of 100 tales of extraordinary women throughout history. Rebel Girls, was co-written by Favilli in 2016, was an overnight sensation becoming the most successful book in the history of crowdfunding. The project raised over $650k for publication and has since been released in 50 languages around the world. Following the books triumph, Timbuktu released Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls Vol 2, and I Am a Rebel Girl: A Journal to Start Revolutions. Rebel Girls also produces a biweekly podcast, highlighting the lives of prominent women, and is working on a number of new projects. Under the leadership of Favilli as its CEO, Timbuktu continues to grow and empower Rebel Girls all around the world!
