To round out her educational path, she served her clinical internship training in the Residential Treatment Facility for Adolescent Males at MercyFirst in Syosset, New York. Clinical Experience And Knowledge Armed with a passion for helping those in need of mental health services, Dr. Reiter used what she learned through her education and postdoctoral training within the mobile crisis unit and the ACT team at Coney Island Hospital. She then extended her mental health care experience by offering therapy to elderly patients at Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Bronx. She also gained extensive knowledge through her work there and in White Plains, where her career took her from assisting adults with chronic pain and PTSD symptoms to offering therapy and testing to patients in a group practice setting. Our Eastchester Clinic While working as a consultant for the Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau, where she conducted psychological evaluations with adolescent girls, Dr. Reiter founded her clinical office in Eastchester. It is through this current location that Dr. Reiter and her team strive to assist those with ADHD, learning disabilities, depression and anxiety, OCD issues and oppositional behaviors.
