Jim and Claire Ford founded Ford Audio-Video Systems in Oklahoma City as Ford Audio & Acoustics in February 1973. The company opened a Dallas office in 1989; Denver office in 1992; Nashville, Tenn., office in 1996; and Las Vegas office in 1999. The same year Ford Audio-Video Systems opened its Las Vegas office, the company acquired Xeno Systems of Austin, Texas.
