Lawrence School, established in 1969, is an independent college preparatory school offering education to students in grades one through 12. It is accredited by the Independent School Association of the Central States, and chartered by the Ohio Department of Education. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, art, politics, media, literature, sociology, world and American history, economics, journalism, French and Spanish, and computer education. It provides various extracurricular activities to students, including pottery, paintings, cultural artifacts, wire sculptures, music and drawings. The amenities offered by the school include a library, media center, gymnasium and playground. It also has a store that offers a variety of school supplies, such as clothing, stationary, novelties and accessories. Lawrence School is located in Cleveland, and has an enrollment of more than 200 students.
