Christian School Association of Vineland New Jersey, parents, pastors and Christian businessmen in the Vineland area founded Cumberland Christian School in 1946. Its elementary school program is for students in kindergarten through grade five, and focuses on a phonics-based reading curriculum in the early grades. Its elementary curriculum also includes piano instruction beginning in third-grade and instrumental lessons and bands in grades four and five. It offers a college preparatory high school program that includes subjects such as Bible studies, English, math, science, world history, health and physical education, practical and performing arts, computer education, foreign language, Christian living and various elective subjects. Cumberland Christian School is located in Vineland, N.J.
