Bethany Christian School, founded in 1980 and located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is a ministry of the Rio Vista Community Church and serves more than 250 students. It provides academic and spiritual programs for Christian education for students two-years old through 8th grade. Bethany s staff members hold state teaching certificates and the school is accredited by Christian Schools of Florida, Florida Council of Independent Schools, The Florida Kindergarten Council and the Association of Christian Schools International. The students attend a variety of classes that include art, computer, music, band, library, physical education, chapel and Spanish. Bethany Christian s student community activities are organized by the Parent Teacher Fellowship that provides the student body with the opportunity to reach out to the community.
