The Norwich Family YMCA is a nonprofit, charitable organization that offers a range of health and fitness services for children and adults. Established in 2002, the organization has more than 4,000 members. It is spread across an area of over 60,000 square feet. The Norwich Family YMCA features an aerobic studio, computer center, swimming pool, saunas, gymnasiums and racquetball courts. The organization maintains a teen center and nursery, as well as organizes exercise classes. It additionally operates Camp Thompson, which is a nearly 200-acre site and maintains a playground, pavilion and boathouse. The Norwich Family YMCA features a community room that is available on a rental basis for organizing pool and birthday parties. It is a part of the YMCA of the USA.
