Founded in 1976, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning is a multicultural nonprofit partnership among parents, youth and community that is dedicated to nurturing, supporting and strengthening family life through quality child, youth and family development programs. The center serves Chicago families and facilitates community advocacy on child and family issues. It has a demonstrated ability to develop innovative programs that are both responsive to needs and sustainable over the long run. The Carole Robertson Center for Learning offers a variety of programs, including infant toddler development, head start and early childhood education. It serves the Near West Side, North Lawndale and Little Village communities of urban Chicago.

In operation for over a century, St. Edward Catholic School provides faith-based education to students in preschool through grade eight.
