Noonday Baptist Church has been in Northeast Marietta since 1835, making it one of the oldest religious institutions in the nation. They have a faithful following well over 1000 members and have recently moved into their new location across the street from the older facility. They offer children services, two worship service times and even a private academy. Also, located on their grounds are playgrounds, and baseball fields.
The Montessori School of Woodstock is an early childhood educational and developmental institution. The ages of the kids that the school enrolls range from 18 months to 6-years-old. Children are taught to learn through observation and participation with the freedom to explore their surroundings. The Montessori School of Woodstock focuses on developing kids' minds as well as their characters.
Kids 'R' Kids North Cobb is a preschool and after-school program in Marietta, teaching children six weeks to twelve years of age. The program is accredited and has won numerous awards for overall excellence and quality. Preschool teachings include letter names, sounds and word identification. After-school programs seeks to enrich your child's creativity, problem-solving and decision-making skills. There are various after-school acitivities and clubs, including Homework Club, Ecology Club, Drama Club and more. This facility provides summer camp, as well as a webcam that allows you to view your child in school.
International Academy Montessori School is located on Barns Mill Road in Marietta. The school accepts children ages 6 weeks to 9 years old. Children must be 4 (cut-off is September 1) to 6 years of age for the Pre-K program.
Due West Academy is a state-licensed child care and learning center. The facility features secure, keyed access. It is a safe place to entrust with your children. There are several age-appropriate playgrounds here, and pick up and drop off services are provided to nearby elementary schools. They are funded by the Georgia Lottery. Due West Academy is locally owned and operated and has been under new management since December of 2009.
Temple Kol Emeth organizes, sponsors and runs a variety of community and religious programs, as well as its traditional Shabbat services. The temple hosts women's and men's fellowship groups, which provide support to the institution and the community, and also participates in a number of charitable and philanthropic causes. The temple plays host to the East Cobb preschool of the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta and runs the Fanny and Joe Margolin Religious School.
