Lake Forest Montessori School is a year-round private school which serves infants and children up to age seven. There are 100 children enrolled here, 18 of them in its K and one elementary class.
Its teachers are all Montessori-trained, credentialed, and dedicated to the Montessori approach to education which respects each child's self-concept and developmental needs. Children are offered a rich environment which promotes independence and scholastic achievement.
Heritage Christian School aims to help students develop academically, spiritually emotionally, physically and socially. It is open to students in pre-school through grade 12 and offers a curriculum that includes English, math, Social Studies, science, art, music, Bible, Spanish, physical education and technology. Athletic programs include football, soccer, volleyball and basketball.
Arbor Christian School has been in the area since 1978. It offers education from kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as a preschool and day care. Summer offerings include field trips and Bible study. There is an Awana program available for young children. The school is part of the Arbor Christian Fellowship, a church led by Dr. Michael Proud as pastor. Its ministries include a Hispanic ministry and English as a second language classes.
Lake Forest Beach and Tennis Club offers a variety of activities and amenities for members of the community to enjoy. It features two swimming pools, a swimming lagoon, a wading pool, six tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, fitness and billiards rooms, lounge and bar. The Club also houses a preschool program. Rooms are also available to rent for private functions.
