Engineered Electric Company, located in Bridgeport, Conn., is a supplier of military and commercial power generation and distribution equipment. The company focuses its resources on supplying military generator sets, APUs and other power equipment to the United States Armed Forces and other government agencies. Its 140,000 sq. ft. facility is configured for design and prototype work, as well as high volume manufacturing. It is a leading designer and one of the largest suppliers of Tactical Quiet Generator sets to the Department of Defense. EEC s major projects include the completion of the 3KW Tactical Quiet Generator Set. Emphasis was placed on reducing weight and noise for the safety of the soldier without sacrificing reliability and performance. It was the first generator set produced for the United States Army with a permanent magnet generator and variable speed technologies.
