The guild offers juried exhibits of member's work, sales of both art pieces and functional sculptures, such as ceramic tableware, vases, and tea pots, as well as workshops, and shared studio spaces for working or teaching. Membership is juried, and requires an application that can be downloaded from the website

General Information Clayworks Supplies was founded in 1983. Growing from a closet in the basement of the Baltimore Clayworks art center, we now have a 5000 square foot retail and warehouse space. We employ two trucks to deliver throughout the mid-Atlantic region from Southern Pennsylvania to Northern Virginia, the Eastern Shore to Western Maryland and West Virginia. Our products are the finest ceramic supplies and equipment available. Our customer service is a paramount focus of all our employees at Clayworks Supplies. Collectively, our staff have decades of experience in ceramic arts. Whether you need a truck load of clay or a two dollar tool, whether you are a pleasure potter, a teacher, or a professional, our job is to make it easier for you to achieve your artistic goals. We carry pottery clays from Standard Ceramics, Highwater Clays, Laguna Clay Company, and Campbells Ceramics. Our ceramic glazes are from Duncan, Laguna, Standard and Campbells. We have potters tools from Kemper Tools, Falcon Company, Sculpture House, Sherrill Mud Tools, California Pot Tools, and Jepson Pottery. We carry Brent Potters Wheels and pottery wheels from Shimpo. Wild Yam Pottery sells a variety of beautiful contemporary clay art items, all handcrafted by one of the four owners of the store. The items range from the traditional, such as bowls and dishware, to the unique, including a custom jar with your pet's face on it. It has been open on The Avenue in Hampden for 8 years. Custom orders are available, as is bridal registry.
