Run by Linda Fox, this artist's workshop and studio displays pottery and paintings by up-and-coming North Shore artists. The works are sold to the general public through Fox's studio, but be sure to call ahead for an appointment, as the studio's hours vary. Parking is typically available along Darrow Street.
The Pot Shop offers pottery classes in a large studio, and also contains a retail store that sells great handmade pottery, jewelry, candles, frames and other gift items. Children and adult classes are offered in eight-week sections, which meet once a week for three hours each time. Students learn how to use the wheel and all about glazing. The Pot Shop has 19 wheels and two kilns in its studio space, and offers pottery parties for birthday, scout events, showers or corporate events.
