Magnani's is a well-known butcher and small grocery store. Specializing in mostly poultry, it also has a great selection of natural beef and pork as well. It has a cold case with some dairy items and freshly made soups. Additional items include snacks like chips and cookies, coffee, and a variety of marinades and sauces.

Founded in 1971, Berkeley Potters Guild is a collective of professional ceramic artists that claims the distinction of being one of the largest and oldest organizations of its kind in Northern California. Nearly 20 artists work out of the studio creating everything from functional items to one-of-a-kind sculptures. Adults and children are welcome to sign up for classes or stop in to shop at the on-site gift gallery.
