Tucked away on a quiet residential street, Quince Orchard Knolls Local Park is a local public park featuring a playground and soccer and baseball fields. A walking path through the woods wraps around the park.
Bohrer Park has a little something for everyone. In addition to trails, fields, ponds, playgrounds, pavilions, volleyball nets and a horseshoe pit, the park includes the Gaithersburg Activity Center. The activity center features mini-golf, a skate park and a water park. This is a great place to bring the family or a large group for a party or a relaxing afternoon spent poolside.
Seneca Creek State Park offers a variety of trails for mountain biking and hiking, playgrounds and picnic areas for family time and scenic views of Clopper Lake. It extends for 14 miles, following Seneca Creek through Montgomery County to the Potomac River. The 90-acre lake offers fishing and boating, as well. Visitors can explore the area's history on a short self-guided tour, and there is a disc-golf course and hunting within the park.
Green Park is for the dogs. A secluded patch of grass tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, Green Park features walking paths, an extensive playground and swings. There are wide-open fields, a dog exercise area, basketball and tennis courts, and benches for just relaxing.
This quiet park features a garden, paths, benches and a gazebo. It sits on the former site of the Gaithersburg Public Library, which was destroyed by a fire. The site was formerly known as Lee Street Park.
