The roots of the church follow the lineage of John Wesley, who developed the Methodist faith. Thomas Webb, the sea faring captain who converted to Wesleyan-ism, was the outreach missionary who helped unite this group.
Located on the corner of Carroll Street and Seventh Avenue, the Old First Reformed Church is a Protestant denomination church dating back to the turn of the 20th century.
