Chesterfield Presbyterian Church is on a mission to serve and teach the word of God. It does this through Children's Ministry, Student Ministry, Men's Ministry and Women's Ministry. Within these groups are opportunities to learn and serve together with peers. Senior Pastor Rev. Hugh Barlett strives to bring his congregation together for praise, worship and service.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a Mormon church. Its members do a variety of missionary work and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. This Chesterfield location has a thriving youth group that meets every Tuesday at 7pm. Thomas Blair is the Bishop of the Chesterfield 1st Ward.
Pastor Ralph Green describes Antioch Baptist Church as an "old country church." The small congregation mostly sings old hymns and women still get together here to make quilts and comforters to donate in the community. A traditional Southern Baptist church, Antioch Baptist's congregation began meeting in 1841. The sanctuary dates to the 1920s and the on-site cemetery was started in the 1860s. Green describes today's congregation as friendly and relaxed. He said the church works to glorify God. "That's the single thing every church should be doing."
New Life Community Church recently celebrated its second anniversary. Pastor Jason and his wife Ashley have grown the church from three families in 2008 to over 100 people today. Pastors Josh and Laura Longanecker are on board to carry out the mission of the church.
Ascension Parish offers ways to get involved for all ages — from infant to senior — and stages — from youth sports to parenting groups. The parish offers free support to unemployed and underemployed members. The group, Ascension Employment Network, meets twice a month.
Youth meet Sunday evening from 6:45 to 8:45. They also meet at Kaldi's in Chesterfield on Monday evenings for fellowship. Other meetings occur at various times. Several study groups for adults meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Knight of Columbus and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary take part in charity work in the community.
St. Louis Chinese Christian Church is an independent, Christ-centered fellowship that began more than 30 years ago for Mandarin-speaking immigrants. Today, the church preaches in English to the descendants of those immigrants in a ministry named "Living Water." The guiding principles are worship, teaching, fellowship and evangelism.
New members are invited to worship with Pastor Mark Manning on Sunday mornings.
Tucked away on a hill overlooking Chesterfield, St. Thomas strives to embody the United Church of Christ motto: "Whoever you are and wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here."

The approximately 100-member congregation encompasses all ages and walks of life, including young singles, families and seniors. St. Luke's Pharmacy is located inside St. Luke's Hospital and is convenient for those who have just had a hospital stay or a doctor visit there. It fills prescriptions and provides injectable medications and hard-to-find medications. Mail service is also available.
St. John's United Church of Christ offers two different styles of worship services on Sundays. It holds a traditional service early in the morning and a more contempory service later. During the week there are many opportunities for activities, including men's fellowship, Christian education, youth groups and music ministry. For more than 35 years, St. John's has offered a Christian-based, hands-on preschool for children ages 18 months to 4 years. Enrollment begins each year in January.
United Methodist Church of Green Trails strives to walk a middle ground of Chesterfield churches as the Reverend Nate Berneking says. He said he felt in the area there is a choice between attending a large, exciting church or a smaller church that provides the congregation with a "church family" but is less energizing.
"We hope to be both," Berneking said. "We're building a great spiritual network, where you feel at home and there are exciting opportunities."
The church is involved in several local ministries, including Shalom House and Kingdom House. Recently, a church group travelled to Mozambique to help build a seminary to train leaders in the civil war-torn country.
About 12 small groups meet during the week and the youth group is very active. Youth meet every Sunday, take two annual mission trips and do other charity work throughout the year.
