Founded in 1907, the  St. Tarcisius Parish first served the large Italian immigrant population in downtown Framingham. Today, the Parish  serves a large Brazilian immigrant population as well as South Framingham residents. St. Tarcisius Parish is named after a Christian martyr from the 3rd century who is the the patron saint of altar servers and first communicants.

 The church is led by Pastor Rev. Renald Vecchiato, C.S.

Weekend Masses are held in English and Portuguese.
Schedule includes: Saturday, 4 p.m., English  Church; 7 p.m. Brazillian  Church  and Sunday, 8 a.m., English  Church; 9:30 a.m., Portuguese  Church, 11 a.m., English  Church; 7 p.m. Brazillian  Church

There is an English-language CCD Program on Sunday morning prior to the 11 a.m. family Mass.

The Parish rectory is located at 562 Waverly St. The Parish owns the Father Maschi Parish Center, which is used by the Town of Framingham on election day for two South Framingham precincts.

Set back from wooded, scenic Edmands Road, the Friends Meetinghouse is a white clapboard building set on a large property. Sunday meeting for worship is at 10am. There is also First Day School, equivalent to Sunday school in other churches, which is offered for children from infancy through high school.

First Parish in Framingham is a Unitarian Universalist Congregation located next to the Town Green. The church's history dates back to the founding of Framingham in 1700.

The spiritual leader of the Congregation is Rev. Kathleen Hepler. The congregation hold weekly services on Sundays at 9:15 and 11am Sept. through May. 10 am services are available from Memorial day through August.

First Parish offers many opportunities to connect, deepen and serve for youth and adults. Religious exploration programs for pre-k through grade 8, and youth groups for teenagers. Childcare is available during both services. First Parish is very active with social action work groups, fellowship events, spiritual journey groups and more. The congregation has a choir, children's choir, handbell choir and youth chimes choir.

Located near Routes 126 and 30, the Wesley United Methodist Church offers weekly Sunday services at 9:30 a.m. under the spiritual direction of Pastor Rev. Ernest Belisle.

The active Church does local and global outreach programs. It offers a Cool Kids Club on Sundays, a vaction Bible school, and a youth choir.

Located on Edgell Road, the Framingham Seventh Adventist Church is led by Pastor Van Lalkima Sailo. The Church is very active in Community service. Members participate in tutoring and mentoring programs, disaster response and missions. One Saturday a month, members collect non-perishables for a Natick Food pantry. Church members also sponsor a dinner at a local homeless shelter monthly.

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is located at the corner of Main and Maple streets. An active Church, it is under the spiritual direction of the Rev. Julie Carson, Rector.

Services are Sundays at 8am and 10am, religious education is available for adults and children at 9am and child care  is provided for the 10 am service. The Church averages about 125 parishioners per week.

The Church has a Middle school and High school youth group program,  community dinners, newcomers dinner, and more.

Church members  participate in outreach program in Framingham including the Carlyle House Nursing Home, Miracle Soup Kitchen at Salvation Army, South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Veterans Outreach Center, and many others.

The Church also makes itself available to outside groups including AWOL, Veterans Acupuncture, Gateway Camera Club, and the Town of Framingham Garden Club.

Located in South Framingham the South Middlesex Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church led by Pastor Scott Wilson. It has Sunday services, a preschool and Sunday school for both children and adults. Founded in 1972, Greater Framingham Community Church is an interdenominational Christian church located in downtown Framingham. The church moved to its current location in 1992, when it purchased the building from the Assembly of God Church. The church is governed by a 12-member council. The spiritual leader of the church is pastor Rev. Dr. J. Anthony Lloyd. Presently, Greater Framingham Community Church is the largest predominantly African-American church in the Metro West area, with a congregation that draws from African, Caribbean and European cultures. It offers educational and cultural programs, youth fellowship, community outreach programs, and assistance to the needy and homeless. The church has multiple music ministries and numerous community partnerships, including with the MetroWest Boys & Girls Club, United Way and Interfaith Clergy Association. Greater Framingham Community Church holds an annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast, a youth conference and an annual writing contest. It also offers a vacation bible school, Sunday school program children's choir, and a youth ministry program. The church holds weekly services on Sundays and Bible Studies on Wednesdays. There are Bible studies programs for men, women, teens and youths.

Shalom Pentecostal Church, a Brazilian congregation of the Assembly of God denomination, was founded in December 1994. The church provides services, study groups and choir and missionary programs to about thirty families. Located in downtown Framingham, the congregation accommodates speakers of both Portuguese and English.

Located in downtown Framingham, the Concord Street Salvation Army is a warm and supportive community organization dedicated to providing local assistance to youth and adults in the form of worship, bible study, character building programs and a well-stocked food pantry. To maintain the supply the center is currently soliciting food donations. The center also offers a thrift store that sells clothes and furniture. Free parking is available in the rear lot.

The New Life Presbyterian Community Church was founded in January 1999; originally, its congregation was a small community of several Brazilian families in northern Framingham, and it moved to its present location near downtown Framingham in January of 2003.  Rev. Dr. Manoel Oliveira Jr. has been part of the church since its founding through the present day.

Named for the 18th century theologian Jonathan Edwards, Edwards Church in the Saxonville section of Framingham dates back to 1827. The Saxonville Religious Society had formed the Church as a Trinitarian congregation.

In 1957, Edwards Church, along with many Congregational churches, voted to become part of the United Church of Christ.

Today, the church is under the spiritual direction of the Rev. Dr. Deborah Clark. In 2000, Edwards Church voted to become an Open and Affirming Congregation. A worship service is held Sunday at 10am.

The active church creates quilts for children in foster care and veterans in VA Hospitals. It also works closely with Pathways Family Shelter in Framingham and a Place to Turn food pantry in Natick. Other outreach programs include collecting eyeglasses for the Lions Club, collecting supplies for military personnel serving in Iraq and helping families in need during the holiday season.

Youth and adult groups have also participated in domestic and international outreach programs and worked with the International Heifer Project.

Edwards also has potluck suppers, book groups, men's and women's groups, Bible study, coffee hours and youth programs.
