The Lutheran Church of Georgetown sits on a small hill at the corner of Volta Place and Wisconsin Avenue and is the oldest Lutheran Church in DC. The original church building was made of logs; the current stone structure was built in 1914. The church offers its congregation weekly Sunday services year round and Sunday school for children from October through May.
