Established in 1859, First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro is part of the northeast District of the Arkansas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Located in Jonesboro, Ark., the church offers five worship services, including traditional, contemporary, elevation service, as well as technology and guitar driven music targeted to the younger generation. It conducts Sunday school classes for all ages and Wednesday evening program for children, youth and adults. The church also has a learning center for children, as well as Science, Math, Literacy, Housekeeping, Manipulative, Blocks, Music, and Writing Centers in each room.
