Alonzo's Pizza Depot is a family-owned pizzeria in the Copperwood Shopping Plaza. It specializes in Chicago deep-dish pizza. There are eight booths and two large tables for those eating in and there's also take-out service. Dinner starts at 4pm.
NY City Pizza has been in operations since 1991. It offers baked and take and bake pizzas. Although the store is nestled in a small space, its staff is constantly busy with orders. When dining in, NY City Pizza gives an east coast atmosphere. The menu includes create your own pizzas, gyros, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, cannolis, chicken wings and much more.
Pizza Amore is a great place to grab a pizza, hot wings, calzones, subs and salads. Pizza Amore also makes its own pasta. This small pizza shop is located behind the Auto Zone store off of Sunrise Boulevard. Although the shop has four tables for inside dining, most customers get food to-go. Call-in orders are encouraged.
This location is known for $5 specials. If you are looking for seating, you might get one of the three available chairs. The food smells as good as anything. The employees were extremely polite and welcome orders.
