DeMoor Speech Therapy provides speech language pathology services for patients, specializing in services for children of all ages and adults. This practice is accessible by the F and G trains at the Fort Hamilton Parkway station.
Founded in 1971, The Putnam Child Development Center is a part of the New York Child Resource Center, Inc., and provides Early Intervention Program (EIP) services for children, ages newborn to 3 years old. EIP is a public program for special needs children who are either suspected of having or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities.
The New York Child Resource Center, Inc. is licensed by the New York City Department of Health's division of day care and the Department of Mental Health. The Quincy Avenue site offers evaluations, home-based programs and on-site day care and instruction.
Gary King is the site manager, instructor and trainer. The school also offers an after-school program for EIP students up to age 12.
