Eric E. Johnson, MD, is an experienced orthopaedic trauma specialist who leads his own practice in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.  Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City in 1976. He completed an internship and residency in surgery there in the following years. He then moved to California to perform an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Johnson then took his talents and ambitions overseas, first to Hanover, Germany, and then to Paris, France. In Hannover, Dr. Johnson completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery at Hannover Medical School. In Paris, he completed a fellowship in pelvic and acetabular fracture surgery at the Centre Medico-Chirurgical de la Porte de Choisy and the University of Paris. Dr. Johnson is certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a faculty member at AO/ASIF, the past president of AO North America, a past member of the Board of Directors of the AO Foundation, an honorary member of the AO Foundation, and a member of the German and Argentine Trauma Societies. Additionally, Dr. Johnson has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. In addition to Dr. Johnson’s professional affiliations, he has also authored 47 published abstracts, 51 peer-reviewed publications, and 11 book chapters. By the end of 2019, Dr. Johnson will have given over 230 international presentations and 228 national presentations at annual orthopaedic gatherings. He has also served as the chairman for over 45 national and international orthopaedic fracture courses in his esteemed career.  Through his work with the AO Foundation and other international trauma societies, Dr. Johnson continues to grow his knowledge of orthopaedic surgery and remains on the cutting edge of his field. After growing up in Los Angeles and graduating from Montclair College Prep High School, Dr. Noor received his undergraduate degree in biology, with minors in kinesiology and athletics, from California State University at Northridge. He went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, with an emphasis on pain management, and sports and non-sports injury rehabilitation, from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles. He’s a member of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the California Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Noor is also committed to providing his medical expertise to competing athletes whenever he can. He has served as medical staff at high school football games and wrestling matches, and at marathons, among many, many other events.              When he’s not at the office, Dr. Noor enjoys spending time with his wife Elisa, racing karts, playing basketball, and swimming. The industry has adopted new technologies to cope with evolving healthcare and regulatory and employment environments. The Association has built an interactive Internet Business Center, and adopted distance education, teleconferencing, and other efficiency-producing methods to help members meet these challenges. Care Providers of Minnesota is affiliated with the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) and thus addresses the concerns affecting its membership on both the state and the national level. None of this change has replaced the core fact of long-term care. At its heart, it is still the relationship between the caregivers and the consumers of care that matters. Among providers, it is the people who make the care good and the system work.
