The Great Neck Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization that hosts a variety of events and classes such as film series, painting and ceramics, drama, music, dance instruction, fencing and more. The building can also be rented out for special occasions such as weddings, private parties, conferences, lectures and community meetings. The Great Neck Arts Center has been part of the community since 1995.
Jam Dance & Fitness Center, located on Great Neck Road, provides professional instruction and numerous programs in dance and fitness. Classes are offered for participants as young as 2 years old through adults (its website lists a schedule and tentative calendar). The studio also features competitive and pre-competitive dance teams and birthday parties can be held at the center. Long Island-based Jam Dance & Fitness Center has two other locations: one in Dix Hills and the other in Bellmore.
