The Brookline Academy of Dance has been in business for eight years and is located in a neighborhood surrounded by schools and families. The dance school offers a recreational resource for all types of dancers. It has a wide range of classes taught by experienced and professionally trained staff.
This hidden gem, just off California Street and tucked behind Phillip Rand Company, is built to bring out the dancer in all of us. Instructors Peter Kornel Kovacs and Marisa Noelle Panos have built a program that encourages style, confidence and fun. They have programs for adults, teens and children. Social and competitive instruction is available.
Established in 1923, Arlington Friends of the Drama is one of the oldest community theater groups in the country. Located in the former St. John's Episcopal Church, the group produces five different shows annually, including musicals, a comedy and a drama. Members receive benefits such as discount tickets to all shows, invitations to season open and close parties and other perks. Individual tickets are also available.
The Dance Factory is a dance studio. It offers classes in ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip hop. It offers classes for both children and adults. Adult zumba and ballet classes are available. The studio sometimes features master classes and dance-intensive workshops taught by professionals.
