Since 1970, Powerhouse Associates has been supplying Hollywood with scenery and props. It offers a wide range of services including pre-production consultation and renderings, working renderings and post-production work. This is an ideal place to rent studio space -- it offers four spaces with amenities such as wireless Internet and complimentary color copies. The staff is comprised of seasoned craftsmen who have worked professionally in the industry. Past and present clients include Disney Direct, Fox TV and Dreamworks -- to name a few. Powerhouse is located on the outskirts of North Hollywood close to all of the major film and television studios. There is plenty of parking in the lot.
T. U. Studios (Theatre Unlimited Studios) is located on the corner of Camarillo Street and Vineland Avenue. The space is used for popular cabarets, musicals, plays and classes.
This stage is a bit larger than most local independent blackboxes. Most season shows are cast through open auditions, and the space is also available for rent/sublease. Entrance and limited parking for the theater can be found at the rear of the building.
